💡 Open Horizons Project → The Inception Programme officially began, bringing together 7 women-led deep-tech startups, 20+ mentors, and corporate partners for a month of business model innovation, strategy refinement, and hands-on collaboration across Europe.
🛡 ECYBRIDGE → Cybersecurity Awareness Month was marked by a series of milestones from the Varna Training on Civil–Military Collaboration to Romania’s upcoming role in hosting the next ECCC Governing Board meeting in 2026, uniting institutions and experts under one European cybersecurity vision.

This month, we’re proud to celebrate the promotion of Rares Gherasim, who is officially our Assistant Project Manager now.
Rares first joined InnovX in 2023 as a summer volunteer, returning this year as an intern while pursuing his studies at Lancaster University Leipzig . Even after resuming his academic journey this autumn, his dedication and consistency stood out, leading him to take on this new role within the InnovX team.
Reliable, curious, and grounded in purpose, Rares has become an essential part of our ecosystem and now also represents InnovX in Central Europe (CE) across our international events and projects. His journey is proof that growth comes to those who lead with passion and perseverance. 🚀
🌕 MoonShotX Opening Gala - Lighting the Path for Romanian Innovation
The MoonShotX Opening Gala took place on October 8 and marked the start of a new program edition. Under the city skyline, more than 100 guests gathered to celebrate Romanian excellence, courage, and the power of economic diplomacy.
Organized by InnovX with the strategic support of Raiffeisen Bank Romania , the Gala brought together ambassadors, founders, alumni, and partners in a night that blended elegance, inspiration, and international collaboration.

As October marked Cybersecurity Awareness Month, ECYBRIDGE joined the European community in raising awareness on digital safety and resilience.

⚙️ Training 2 - Common and Coordinated Efforts in EU Cybersecurity
Between 2nd and 4th of October, the ECYBRIDGE consortium launched Training 2 – “Common and Coordinated Efforts in EU Cybersecurity: Incident Response & Management”, hosted by the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria.
The three-day program brought together experts from government institutions, military organizations, industry, research, and academia, strengthening cooperation between the civil and defence sectors through hands-on exercises and case-based learning.
The training was delivered in partnership with RiskSight , whose team designed practical, action-oriented sessions that translated strategy into real-world application.
A big thank you goes to all consortium partners and to Nicu Iancu and the ECYBRIDGE consortium, for driving forward this vital mission at the intersection of cybersecurity, collaboration, and innovation.
🌐 Strengthening Europe’s Cyber Resilience, One Bridge at a Time
October 15th brought another milestone: the 14th Governing Board meeting of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), held in León, Spain.
The agenda focused on shaping Europe’s cybersecurity future through the implementation of Digital Europe and Horizon Europe programmes, the development of a Strategic Advisory Group, and preparation for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2028–2034).
In a proud moment for Romania and the ECYBRIDGE community, it was announced that the next Governing Board meeting will take place in March 2026 in Bucharest, supported by the Adina Saniuta, Ph.D.
This aligns perfectly with ECYBRIDGE’s mission of connecting European institutions, research centres, and industry experts to build a more resilient, coordinated, and trusted cybersecurity ecosystem.

Founded in Cluj-Napoca, the company has spent the past 14 years transforming urban and natural spaces across Romania, Moldova, and now the United Kingdom, under the inspiring mantra “Working with Nature.” From maintaining the royal grounds at Elisabeta and Săvârșin Palaces, to creating green corridors and sustainable city parks across Central Europe, Eco Garden Construct has proven that landscaping can be both an art and a mission for environmental resilience.

Their solution aims to make legal services faster, smarter, and more accessible, empowering both clients and legal professionals through technology.

On October 15, the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) hosted the 4th edition of “Healthcare Forward: Shaping Tomorrow’s Solutions” at Crowne Plaza Bucharest, gathering over 50 healthcare leaders, innovators, and policymakers for a forward-looking conversation on longevity, digital transformation, and patient-centered innovation.

Renergia - Powering the Future of Energy Through Collaboration ⚡
One of our inspiring alumni, Renergia, continues to shine in Romania’s green energy sector — proving that collaboration and innovation go hand in hand.
At the InvestEnergy Conference 2025, Dacian Jurj, PhD, and his team presented how Renergia’s digital solutions are helping shape a more sustainable and efficient energy ecosystem, alongside industry leaders such as Electrica and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
Their connection with Electrica began back in 2023, during one of InnovX’s scaling programs, where Renergia first pitched its vision directly to corporate representatives. What started as a conversation has since grown into a partnership that accelerates Romania’s green transition.

BIT Sentinel - Advancing Cyber Resilience Through Collaboration
One of the key ECYBRIDGE consortium partners, BIT Sentinel, continues to lead by example in building stronger and smarter cybersecurity ecosystems across Europe.
In October, the team participated in the Train-the-Trainer Workshop “Building Public Sector Capacity for Large-Scale Cybersecurity Exercises”, organized within #BCC2025, as part of the CYRESRANGE Project, where BIT Sentinel is one of seven consortium partners.
Represented by Bogdan George Carp (Programs Manager, BIT Sentinel & CyberEDU), the company presented how the CyberEDU platform powers CYRESRANGE’s mission by enabling large-scale, realistic exercises and seamless collaboration across EU cyber ranges.
The workshop also featured valuable contributions from:

This October, Malina Lucia Turcut - EIC Tech to Market Expert, Investor, and Startup Mentor, shared insights from #EDGE by Mastercard, hosted at Atlantis The Royal, Dubai, an inspiring gathering centered on innovation, partnerships, and financial inclusion.

allpriv - European Innovation in Cybersecurity Recognized
Our partners across Europe continue to advance the frontiers of cybersecurity and digital protection. At the 19th National Cybersecurity Conference (ENISE) in Spain, allpriv, represented by Mickael Leal, was awarded third place in the national acceleration competition organized by INCIBE for its breakthrough project Cyberbrick, an innovative solution designed to protect medical devices through decentralized security.
With eight international patents and a growing impact across Europe’s cybersecurity landscape, allpriv exemplifies the kind of pioneering spirit that drives our ecosystem forward, combining research, innovation, and purpose to make digital life safer for everyone.
